Biographical Sketches

Dr. Hall received his Doctor of Medicine degree, from the University of Florida, in 1970. He completed his residency at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in 1974, and has practiced medicine in Ocala since that time. He received an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force.

Dr. Hall has full staff privileges at both local hospitals, Munroe Regional Medical Center and Ocala Regional Medical Center. He has recently served as Chief of Staff at Ocala Regional Medical Center.

In addition to his private practice of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr Hall is medical director for Midwives of Ocala, a division of Munroe Regional Health System. This allows him to expand the number of patients served, without the administrative responsibility which would be required if he employed the midwives directly.

Dr. Hall's commitment to the health of his patients is demonstrated by his vigilant study of the microbiological causes of disease, and nutritional and other natural methods of counteracting these causes. He has also completed an extensive course of study on Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice, through The Institute for Functional Medicine, Inc.

Dr. Hall is the author of "Making Mama Fit; The Ultimate Game Plan.

He is the founder of Pregnagym, a unique physical preparation for expectant mothers...and speaks nationally on fitness in pregnancy.

Dr. Hall is the developer of a computer software program for pregnancy: Wellness in Pregnancy, which helps monitor all obstetrical care.

Evette F. Hearn, ARNP, has practiced under Dr. Hall's supervision as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner since 1985. Ms. Hearn is trained to perform physical exams and diagnose and treat both gynecological and obstetrical problems. Dr. Hall is available for consultation or additional examination & diagnosis whenever a patient's medical condition requires someone with more training and experience. We are very pleased to have Ms. Hearn as an important part of our health-care team.
